Wohoo!!! It's party time!!! Last night went to Cothphorne Hotel @ Kim Seng Rd, beside Zouk & near Great World City there. It's a 3 or 4 star hotel if I'm not wrong. All of us were dressed smartly & neatly. I reached there on time, @ about 1800hrs. Saw afew of my colleagues, chatted with them while waiting for the rest to come.
At 1900hrs, we went up to the reception @ level 4. Took some pictures with my colleagues & campmates, there's one we took which visualised the alphabet ORD. It's so cool to be with the group. Haha. Soon @ about 1930, we were all seated in the ballroom. Nice atmosphere. There were pre-function activities where dancers performed for us. Then came our Guest-of-Honour, LTC Lee Kuan Chung, Commanding Officer (C.O.) 3rd Guards. He gave a refreshing & yet meaningful speech. One thing which he mentioned was, when we go into Reservist, our new Reservist Unit will be 745 Guards & our new C.O. will be our Brigade Commander Major Jason Kway. Woa, change of command? Lol.
After the speech, we recited our Guards creed, something like a pledge. There were fun-filled games where the Emcees sought for macho guys to match the lady dancers. Lol. In the end they were to dress up like a lady, whoever dresses the prettiest, most creative & innovative will win. Hahahaha. Lame lor. Lol. After dat, dinner was served. Halfway through, my friends & Officer asked me to drink beer. Then keep on asking me to drink more & more lor. They dare me to drink in exchange for 3 waitresses contact numbers. What the hack. -_- Ok lor, they all dare me then I play with them lor. I'm always very 'on' one. Lol. Anyway, this will be our last gathering together le mah. So ok lor. Like dat nvm leh, my friend hor, still add pepper la, chilli la, vegetable into the cup leh... Wa liao...!! I drink already straight away went to the toilet & vomit lor..... Pui.............. Lol.
The food was not so nice... Chicken not very tender, abalone was those kind of vegtarian abalone. Fake one! >_<>
Time past @ a glance of an eye, it's already 2230hrs. Lucky draw was held swiftly & soon the event came to a close. We signed out for our souveniors & home we went. In the package was a 25hr watch crafted with the Guards logo & inscripted 12th Mono Intake 3rd Battalion Singapore Guards. Man I was proud of my Unit! There was also a magazine about the making of NDP 06, a commerative CD & DVD. Woa, a gd catch. Was quite dizzy, hot & blurry dat the 1st thing when I reached home was to lay on my bed. Woke up afew hours later to online, only to find out that 1 of the waitress added me in MSN!! Cos my friend gave her my contact number & E-mail addres... What the hack.... -_- Lol. So, another new friend found.
Later going out with my ex-schmates to watch movie liao. Ciao. Had a fun-filled day last night. ORD Loh!!! =)
